As a Tax Manager in RSM’s M&A Tax practice, you will play a crucial role in providing tax advisory services to private equity firms, family offices, privately held companies, and multinational corporations. Your responsibilities will span across technical expertise, people and talent management, and client service/business development. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering due diligence and tax structuring services while communicating findings and opportunities to clients.
Each day as an M&A Tax Manager at RSM will bring new challenges and opportunities. You might start your day by reviewing the tax aspects of an upcoming merger, identifying potential risks and opportunities. You could then spend time advising a client on the optimal tax structure for an acquisition. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines, ensuring a holistic approach to client service. People management responsibilities will include mentoring junior staff, providing feedback, and helping them develop their technical skills. Client service activities will involve meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting solutions to help them achieve their business objectives. You’ll also dedicate time to business development, seeking out new opportunities to expand RSM’s M&A Tax practice.
