At the Marston Green Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility, we we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.  

To support our existing business and drive future growth, we are offering a 12-month Industrial Placement within the Rotable Exchange department. This team is committed to delivering 100% customer satisfaction by managing customer repairs, fulfilling exchange requirements, and providing collaborative cross-functional support.

What you will do: 

• Purchase order generation, exchange offers and shipments

• Ownership of your own aircraft platform and repair centre interactions

• Data analysis for informed decision-making

• Workshops and continuous improvement initiatives

• Cross-departmental collaboration

• Customer relationship management

• Inventory management support

• Process documentation and reporting

• Digital system development

What you will learn:

This role gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience across operational processes, customer support, inventory management, and data-driven decision-making. within a fast-paced aviation environment.

Skills and Experience Required: 

This Industrial Placement opportunity is ideally suited to you if you are proactive, eager to learn, and motivated by working in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment. You will be studying towards a Business related degree (an Operations Management focus would be an advantage) and be available to complete a 12-month placement starting in Summer 2026. You will have meticulous attention to detail, a methodical approach to work, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We  will delight in training and supporting you during your placement which means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a busy team.
