1. Create a visual workplace
Create a safe, visual, and efficient workplace (both physical and virtual) where waste and near-misses are
reduced. Critical-to-customer performance gaps/issues are easily seen and addressed.

This is done via: Create an efficient Visual Workplace (physical and virtual) by:
• Creating, training ,and displaying standardized work
• Improving workplaces and systems for employees that remove frustration and the need to do
unnecessary work, thus allowing us to exceed customer expectations
• Providing visual methods to easily communicate abnormalities as work is being performed
• Making real-time performance metrics visible and accessible

2. Apply Lean-Agile behaviors
• Using a growth mindset to see failures and setbacks as opportunities rather than sources of
frustration
• Monitoring the key processes will ensure focus on the outcomes that will lead to a
delighted customer
• Leading actively through change rather than just supporting it
This is done via the apprentice training and execution of the following core tools:SIPOC, RACI, Process mapping, Core problem solving and process analysis
