Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors the procedures of purchasing process, from demand analysis, vendor identification until delivery fulfillment and issuance to operations.
• Seeks to solve problems/issues/constraints that impede the progress of supply enablement, escalating as necessary.
• Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers for sustained delivery performance or immediate issue resolution.
• Development of plans to ensure effective utilization of resources for efficient supply chain operations, in-collaboration with internal cross-function and external business partners.
• Review Bill of Material (BOM) releases, Engineering Change Notice (ECN), drawings on part level analysis and other development documents that will trigger movement in MRP/demand likewise affecting supplier schedule.
• Management of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as Supplier quality performance, Supplier on time delivery, Inventory turn-over etc.
• Ensures compliance of business procedures and serve as representatives for external and internal audits. Findings, if detected, are addressed and actions made.
• Provide consulting, training, and guidance to buyers.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any bachelor’s degree
• Preferably has a prior experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing of Direct materials
• Preferably has a prior experience in managing people, i.e Supervisor or Junior Manager position
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Can lead a team and work in a project
• Able to work in a team of different culture, ethnics and background
• Should not have received any disciplinary action for one year.
• Should not be under a Performance Improvement Plan.
• With at least a year in his/her current position.      
• MRP experience (JDE, E1, SAP or equivalent)
