  • Ensure adherence to Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Canada Labour Code, and Ford global safety policies.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to foster a safety-first culture and support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S and Lean manufacturing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ford seeks dedicated professionals with proven safety expertise:

  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or working toward certification; Canadian OHS certifications (e.g., JHSC Part 1 & 2) highly valued.
  • 3-5 years of health and safety experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or automotive logistics environments.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends, and physical capability for facility walkthroughs.
