Role Overview

The Sales Finance Analyst position within PepsiCo's Commercial Finance team in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, offers a pivotal role in driving financial excellence. You will spearhead Discounts & Allowances (D&A) planning, including Actuals, Forecasts (FCST), and Annual Operating Plans (AOP). This role involves close collaboration with Commercial and Regional Sales Finance teams to validate impacts, execute pricing uploads, and deliver value-added insights. By owning your processes, promoting automation, and providing executive-level reporting, you'll influence key decisions in a high-impact sales finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll take ownership of critical financial processes:

• Lead D&A planning for FCST, AOP, and Actuals, maintaining consistency with objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and refine D&A financial models for data quality and standardization.
• Analyze financial impacts of discounts, promotions, and rebates to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams on assumptions, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor performance against plans, identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with governance and D&A processes.
• Drive automation using Power Apps, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations on results, variances, and recommendations.
• Serve as SME for D&A initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo seeks proactive professionals with a strong foundation in finance:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, modeling, analysis).
• Preferred: Experience with SAP, Power Query, Power BI, and Excel macros.
• Native Spanish and fluent English (written/spoken).
• Solid understanding of financial statements, especially P&L drivers.
• Experience in planning/reporting (FCST, AOP, Actuals).
• Knowledge of pricing, discounts, and allowances in sales finance.
