The Sales Finance Associate Analyst role within PepsiCo's Commercial Finance team in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, is pivotal for driving financial excellence in sales operations. This position focuses on Discounts & Allowances (D&A) planning, including Actuals, Forecasts (FCST), and Annual Operating Plans (AOP). You will coordinate with Commercial and Regional Sales Finance teams to validate impacts, execute pricing and discount uploads, and deliver value-added insights. Owning your processes, you'll promote automation and continuous communication, ensuring alignment with financial and commercial goals. This full-time role offers a chance to influence decision-making at a leading FMCG giant.
Take ownership of the D&A planning process for FCST, AOP, and Actuals, ensuring consistency with objectives. Monitor performance against plans, identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and enhance D&A models with high data quality, traceability, and standardization across regions and channels. Analyze impacts of discounts, promotions, and rebates for actionable insights.
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams to align assumptions, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure governance, controls, and compliance in all D&A processes.
Drive process improvements and automation using Power Apps, Power BI, advanced Excel, macros, and Power Query. Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and act as SME for D&A initiatives.
To succeed, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential, with desirable experience in SAP, Power Query, Power BI, and macros. Native Spanish and fluent English are required, alongside strong knowledge of financial statements, especially P&L drivers. We seek self-driven professionals with high learning agility, analytical thinking, independence, and a proactive mindset for process improvements.
