The Sales Rep - Large Grocery / Mass Merchant / Large Format position in Sarasota, Florida, is your gateway to a dynamic career in beverage sales. As a key player in PBNA's success, you'll serve as the primary store-level salesperson for large format accounts such as supermarkets and mass merchants. This full-time role offers a target annual pay of $66,080, exceptional benefits, and opportunities for professional development in a fast-paced, varied environment. No two days are the same as you build relationships, generate sales, and deliver outstanding customer service.
In this role, you'll drive business growth through hands-on sales and merchandising activities. Day-to-day duties include generating sales by leveraging customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and conducting business reviews. You'll rotate and stock products on shelves, displays, coolers, vending equipment, and backrooms, ensuring optimal product visibility. Expect to execute displays, builds, and promotions, which involve lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing 20-45 lbs, as well as standing, walking, reaching, and squatting. You'll receive regular feedback via key metrics, collaborate with cross-functional Pepsi partners, learn new technologies and selling skills, and uphold PepsiCo's strong safety culture by following all standards and procedures. Operating equipment like U-Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks is part of the territory management.
Your efforts directly contribute to account growth, customer satisfaction, and PepsiCo's market dominance in large format retail channels.
PepsiCo provides world-class training, so prior experience is helpful but not mandatory. Minimum requirements include being 18 years or older, possessing a valid U.S. driver's license with proof of insurance, and having a personal car to access multi-store locations within your assigned shift. Helpful backgrounds include merchandising, customer service, managing inventory, and account management. Post-offer, the role requires a background check, drug screening, education and employment verification, and motor vehicle history review to ensure safety in field-based work.
