As a Sales Representative - Lab Products and Distribution at Cardinal Health, you'll spearhead sales of high-quality Cardinal Health™ Brand Laboratory Products and Services. This role targets hospital and independent labs across a dynamic territory including Boston, Massachusetts, the coast of New Hampshire, and Maine. You'll grow Cardinal Health Brand products, Preferred National Brands, and distribution services by delivering tailored solutions like custom kitting. With deep industry knowledge of clinical lab challenges—such as workforce shortages, budget constraints, and evolving supply chains—you'll provide end-to-end support for every lab discipline, including capital equipment and point-of-care options. This field-based position offers a disclosed salary range of $131,500 - $162,800 USD per year, with strong upside potential through commissions and performance incentives.
Take full ownership of a large territory, driving account penetration, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth in the lab space. Implement strategic territory management principles, including call planning, performance analysis, and targeted outreach to maximize Cardinal Health's presence.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Cardinal brand conversions, portfolio expansion, and distribution services. Provide optimal service to convert prospects into loyal customers.
Work closely with internal teams, national accounts, GPOs, and external vendors to achieve shared sales goals. Leverage these partnerships to deliver comprehensive solutions that address customer pain points.
Present and sell a broad portfolio of lab products, custom kitting, and distribution services tailored to meet the unique needs of hospital and independent labs.
Success in this role requires a proven track record in medical or laboratory sales, with deep knowledge of the clinical lab industry. Ideal candidates demonstrate expertise in territory management, B2B relationship building, and navigating complex sales cycles involving GPOs and national accounts. A bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field is preferred, alongside 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a hunter's mindset for new business are essential. Familiarity with lab products, supply chain dynamics, and healthcare regulations will set you apart.
