As Sales Representative, Sportswear Specialty in Tokyo, Japan, you'll report to the Senior Director of Nike Japan’s Sales Department. This full-time role focuses on Sportswear Specialty accounts within the Wholesale business. You'll co-create sales strategies, propose tailored products, and grow Nike's presence in sport, youth culture, and street fashion. Ideal for proactive leaders with retail expertise ready to influence Japan's vibrant marketplace.
Co-create and execute seasonal sales plans with your team to expand Nike's footprint in sport, youth culture, and street fashion. Take future orders from assigned accounts during Sell-In Sessions held four times a year, ensuring partners align with Nike's vision.
Deliver Nike's seasonal initiatives, stories, strategies, and product assortments to maximize partner sales. Lead coordination of business plans that enhance retail presentation and boost Nike's performance metrics.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, track, and apply sales strategies for key product launches. Achieve monthly and seasonal targets through realistic scenario planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
Understand, drive, and scale Retail Elevation across markets. Leverage best-in-class examples, identify new opportunities, and redefine account strategies to meet Japanese consumer needs.
Minimum 2 years of field sales management in sports or fashion, including retail buying, merchandising, sales planning, or analysis. Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
Demonstrate solid retail acumen, deep Nike product knowledge, and consumer trends insight. Strong interest in sport, youth culture, and street fashion. Proven success in sales programs, financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and translating data into actionable plans.
Excel in preparing persuasive presentations, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. Strong verbal/written communication in English and Japanese to influence cross-functionally and vertically. Domestic travel quarterly to retail sites.
