The Sales Strategy Assistant position in Quito, Ecuador, plays a pivotal role in PepsiCo's success by implementing projects for large and small format clients to drive incremental gains in space, volume, and market share. This role involves executing high-impact sales initiatives, adjusting supervisor agendas, and supporting the 3PD (third-party distributor) commercial team. Ideal for analytical professionals passionate about sales strategy in the food and beverage sector, this full-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in multichannel sales dynamics.
Adjust multichannel agendas (OT, DSD, 3PD) for Dynamo-Titanes projects and conduct audits of multichannel evidence to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Update the 3PD Playbook through coordination with point persons and functional teams. Control evaluations of distributors, assigning them to appropriate clusters, and follow up on route reengineering, commercial supports, and profitability-enhancing actions.
Develop and own performance reports and KPIs. Collaborate with local leadership on sales trend analysis and provide support for 3PD team projects and Sales Strategy requirements.
Participate in route visits to gain insights into territories, markets, and 3PD channel dynamics, ensuring strategies are grounded in real-world conditions.
We seek candidates with 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, database management, KPI measurement, and profitability analysis. Desirable experience in commercial or sales areas is a plus. Essential skills include advanced Excel (mandatory), Power BI, PowerApps, and knowledge of sales technologies. Intermediate English is required. Successful candidates demonstrate an analytical, critical mindset with results orientation, strong organization, prioritization abilities, teamwork, interpersonal skills, assertiveness, leadership, adaptability to change, and resilience under pressure.
