Description DescriptionAs a member of the Controllership SSC team, the candidate will partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams, be a trusted advisor for customer contract negotiations, and perform contract review/apply technical guidance for revenue recognition compliance. ).The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment across many different functions within the business and the finance organization. The position is based in Hyderabad and rolls up under Worldwide Controller Organization. ResponsibilitiesWorking knowledge on the FA and clearing processReconcile the FA subledger to ledgerOpen and close the FA SubledgerMaintain the FA ledger (adding, removing assets, transferring assets)Responsible for the monthly close activities including preparing journals, and performing sox controls and checks.Work with Business Partners (F&S, Sourcing, IT etc.)Ensure timely completion of general ledger account reconciliations.Ensure Fixed Asset and prepaid accounting policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesProvide Ad-hoc analysis on Fixed Asset/prepaid dataPrepare metrics and KPIs on the Fixed Asset/prepaid areaAssist in annual audits with the external auditors (Statutory/Gaap)Job Requirement3+ years accounting experienceExperience in Oracle Systems (Fixed Asset Module)Experienced in Oracle multi-currency and multi-country ledgersStrong communication skills.Possess strong analytical and problem solving skillsWillingness to be hands onExcellent IT skills especially in Excel.
