We are looking for core principle SEs who have demonstrated their sales and technical skills and can share that expertise with the wider team, helping us build a team of SEs who are all proficient in soliciting business requirements, developing a technical sales strategy, configuring and successfully demonstrating the solutions that address these requirements and providing business value. You'll collaborate with colleagues, support our sales team, and translate business objectives into compelling recommendations. With your technical and sales skills, you'll present our product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in our technology infrastructure while coaching and mentoring others in the team.Principle Solution Engineers in Commercial will act as a trusted advisor (CTO) to our key customers while aiding the customer’s transformational journey. They will work alongside our SE Leaders and AE leaders to set the strategic approach on key opportunities and to guide less experienced SE's and AEs. We are looking for people that can become multipliers - sharing best practices, repeating success and elevating skills across our team.Responsibilities:Develop CTO relationships with key commercial customers.Work with sales leadership to proactively identify and prioritise big bet pursuitsBuild and lead a consistent approach to big bet opportunities, helping to build the next enterprise accounts.Connect and share best practice with other senior SEs across the SE org and supporting specialist teams.Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other teams.Maintain expertise in multiple industries and the ability to switch between them on a weekly basis.Understand the customer’s needs, and establish Salesforce’s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges.Convey a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce’s solutions.Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, build and present customised demos of Salesforce products including solution concepts to key decision-makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value.Drive consistency and scale across the commercial team to increase ACV/hour.Share knowledge across commercial AEs and SEs, developing/signposting assets for key sales playsLead solution and technical account reviews.Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position.Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.Have a strong curiosity about growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.Required Qualifications:7+ years of Salesforce solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training successExperiences of selling multi-cloud solutions into customers across the UKSalesforce, or other, certifications related to Artificial Intelligence, specifically generative AI and LLM conceptsExperience implementing Digital Transformation strategies, enterprise consulting and delivering increased success to their customers.Known for coaching and mentoring less experienced SEsProven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energising environments.Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.Loves to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen.Good at searching out information and experimenting, love to concentrate on a particular topic, and tackle puzzles.Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.Willing and able to travel occasionally.Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, insurance industry and/or financial services experience, etc.).Relevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and consulting experience are strongly recommended
