We’re looking for a Director, Program Manager to lead programs at the intersection of product, technology, and go-to-market strategy.This individual contributor role will focus on driving Slack First initiatives — shaping how Slack becomes the conversational interface for Salesforce software. You’ll partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers, and GTM leaders to turn ideas into business outcomes, ensuring seamless execution and alignment across functions.Why this role matters:As a strategic connector, you’ll bridge technical program execution with business priorities. You’ll lead programs and portfolios that scale Slack’s impact across Salesforce, streamline operational systems, and deliver features that strengthen customer value.What you’ll do:Partner with executives and senior leaders to define and deliver end-to-end program strategies — from ideation through launch and adoption.Drive Slack First feature development by coordinating across Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, Legal, Security, and more.Build scalable systems and processes that enable planning, testing, release management, and measurable outcomes.Translate business goals into technical execution plans — and translate technical progress back to business outcomes.Act as a trusted thought partner to leaders, influencing strategic direction while staying grounded in execution detail.Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and craft mitigation strategies across technical and business dimensions.Establish repeatable, scalable practices that improve efficiency, quality, and cross-functional delivery.Communicate with clarity and influence across all levels — from executives to engineers.What we’re looking for:7+ years leading complex programs that span product, engineering, and business functions.Strong technical literacy (able to scope projects, assess risks, and engage engineers) and GTM fluency (experience with sales, marketing, or growth teams).Proven ability to unite diverse teams with competing priorities into aligned outcomes.Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to flex between strategy and detail.Experience building and scaling operational systems in fast-paced, agile environments.Comfort with ambiguity, with a track record of creating clarity and driving results.Curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for making complexity manageable.Familiarity with tools like Jira, Tableau, dashboards, or analytics platforms.Bonus points if you have:SQL or scripting skills for working with data.Hands-on experience with product-led growth or large-scale transformation programs.At Slack, you’ll join a collaborative, diverse team that values humility, curiosity, and impact.
