We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell Slack. The sales representative should have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, building ROI/TCO analysis and attending networking events.Objectives of the RoleRepresent the Slack platform and services: Use market and customer insights, along with deep product knowledge, to demonstrate how Slack meets client needs.Drive new business: Effectively sell Slack’s value proposition to potential clients.Manage customer accounts: Maintain relationships with existing clients and proactively work to reduce churn.Negotiate contracts: Lead pricing discussions and commercial agreement negotiations.Provide customer support: Address client inquiries, offer relevant product recommendations, and ensure customers maximize their use of Slack.Collaborate cross-functionally: Communicate customer feedback and market insights to the product and development teams.Stay informed: Keep up to date with industry trends and evolving market dynamics.Achieve sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by executing effective sales and marketing strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a Territory Plan based on comprehensive data analysis, adapting strategies according to field results and customer feedback.Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and uncover new sales opportunities.Generate new leads and manage a structured daily work schedule to engage both existing and potential customers.Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across all service categories.Demonstrate deep product knowledge by leading product demos and confidently handling objections.Prepare clear, accurate, and compelling reports, proposals, and executive-level presentations.Skills and QualificationsDesirable +6 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in technology or SaaS.Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and related sales tools.Demonstrated ability to combine persuasion with professionalism in client interactions.Strong Solution and Value Selling approach.Proven record of exceeding sales quotas.Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events.
