The Salesforce for Government proposition is based on transforming citizen user experience whilst at the same time driving departmental and technology efficiencies through a ‘joined up"’ platform driven approach.About the RoleWe are hiring for a Named Account Executive sales professional to nurture existing customers and drive new business acquisition / expansion in the South East region. Your account focus will include councils, public safety, environmental and health services. This is an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced quota-carrying Sales Exec who can work both as part of a broader Account Team and as an Individual Contributor, driving self-generated sales opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Creating and implementing effective territory and account plans for your region and customer baseExceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing salesManaging the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accountsCreating and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievementPositioning Salesforce’s unique capabilities to address the specific needs of public sector entities and help organisations change and innovate fasterCo-selling effectively with other Salesforce Sales team and cross-functional teams to maximise impactNurturing and expanding relationships with public sector accounts by building trust and deeply understanding their unique challengesEffectively communicating with leadership, customers, partners, and extended teams to ensure alignment with public sector needsParticipating in team-building and company-growth activities, such as strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and volunteeringProviding accurate monthly forecasting and revenue deliveryWhat We’re Looking ForProven success in SaaS sales - minimum 5 years’Demonstrated ability in both new business development and account management within a fast-paced, target-driven environmentRelevant expertise of selling into the Public Sector.
