Position SummaryRole and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesDevelop strategy of supply chain management for CE Business (TV, AC, HA, etc.)Design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reportsEvolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand & supply planning processes and systemsMeasure the impact of forecast accuracyConduct current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followedAssemble and analyse all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and eventually tier 1 account POS and inventory levels)Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trendsLead forecast and inventory planning meetings with Marketing team, reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis on brand transitions, new product introduction, and promotions)Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the futureSupport CHN & PM to accelerate high forecast accuracy according to activity planPerforms other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisorSkills and QualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Business Degree, Supply Chain Management, or quantitative analysis is preferred.Minimum 5-8 years related experience in Demand Planning/ Forecasting, Supply Chain Management, or other related functionsBackground in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planningStrong analytical abilities and excellent in sophisticated excelStrong knowledge of demand planning process within Consumer Goods IndustryKnowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issuesDetail oriented & Extreme accuracyExtensive Ms. Excel & spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilitiesKnowledge of turn rates, key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.Ability to lead cross-functionallyCollaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory.Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory.Good coordinator and able to work very well under high pressureExperience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP statistical software packagesGood command of English both spoken and written with computer literacy* Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
