Position SummaryRole and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large data sets to create sales & profit, overhead reports etc.Monitor financial performance, analyse profitability, identify cost drivers and explain variances from rolling forecasts, management plan and past years Extract insight from reports, generate commentaries (Korean-english) and create PowerPoint Presentations for Management (C-level) reportingActively liaise with relevant teams and product managers to uncover P&L variancesDevelop and support new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reportingPrepare, present, and lead presentations needed to C suite, executives and external meetings as required.Provide relevant, timely and accurate financial information to support key responsibility areas in controlling, including variance analysis of actual vs budget or forecasts and other ad-hoc cost analysisAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the company’s reputation and safeguarding the group by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy.Skills and QualificationsDegree in Finance/ Business Administration or equivalentMin 5 years of experience in business / Financial analystStrong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PPT)Experience of SAP / building financial / budgeting models, Macro preferredExcellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsGood communication skills to engage stakeholders and present results to managementSamsung Electronics’ environmental management philosophy derives from our core purpose of contributing to human life, with respect for nature.
