Come innovate with us!Position SummaryThe Senior Electrical Distribution Engineer is part of the Infra Electrical Engineering team at Samsung Semiconductor.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Develop, review, and approve SAS site electrical specifications and maintenance procedures related to power distribution for waste water treatment facilities and their associated electro-mechanical loads and backup systems.Develops and prepares engineering designs, drawings, circuit maps, control diagrams, charts, databases, plans, and other documents for transmission and distribution systems, generation and substation facilitiesFormulates, prepares, and implements operating and safety procedures and guidelines, and operating manuals for all Samsung Electrical Systems within the facility.Develop and maintain Samsung’s Power Distribution System philosophy.Performs complex power system analyses, such as protective coordination, load flow analysis, etc.Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity and performanceCreate or perform Change Point Management (CPM) for equipmentSkills and Qualifications​Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering field, Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred.7 + years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution. Skills, Abilities & KnowledgeGeneral Knowledge of Generators, Motor Controllers, and VFD's.Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear arc flash protections, Protection RelaysExperience in Commissioning, testing, of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. (Including creation of commissioning procedures etc.)#LI-NF1The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 and $179,090 Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
