Come innovate with us!Position SummarySeeking an individual contributor with Process Integration experience or knowledgeable of multiple unit processes such as Lithography, Etch, Thin Film deposition for example. The scope of the job is 28nm node and above.The Process Integration Engineering (PIE) team is focused on incoming technology transfer, productization, new product introductions, yield improvement, process margin improvement, cycle time reductions and other KPI improvements.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Knowledgeable in unit part processes used to fabricate planar MOSFETs and interconnects.Understands the critical interactions between processes and reasons for applications of materials / chemistries and patterning techniques.Enhances knowledge of fabrication sensitivities impacting device performance, yield, packaging and reliability.Duties will include problem solving related to reliability/packaging claims, depressed yield, in line trend shifts, new product introductions(NPI), integration margins and resolving process/integration weaknesses.Proven ability to assess KPI gaps and generate and execute improvement plans without significant oversight. Work with process groups when necessary to attain objectives.Experience with 8D reporting.Skills and QualificationsHere’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or related field. Master's Degree is preferred.5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry required. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience.
