As an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner at Sanford Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with endocrine conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
Your day might begin with reviewing patient charts and preparing for scheduled appointments. You'll then see patients, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to diabetes management, educating patients on self-care techniques, and adjusting medication regimens as needed. You will collaborate with other NPs and physicians, participating in team meetings to discuss complex cases and ensure continuity of care. You will also handle patient messages, phone calls, and order requests, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Completion of a master’s, postmaster’s, or doctorate from an nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Licensing prior to August 1, 1995, master's degree in nursing is preferred.
New grads are welcome to apply. Diabetes and/or Endocrinology experience is a plus.
The position involves 8-hour day shifts, with a scheduled weekly hours of 40.

The panel will initially focus on diabetes management, with opportunities to expand to other diagnoses with training and experience.
