Sanford Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our PAME (Pain Management & Musculoskeletal Experts) Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on managing acute and chronic conditions, performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes during hospital stays.

Sanford Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. The benefits package includes:

A Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in South Dakota, a current DEA permit, and national board certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner are required. Previous experience in hospital medicine or acute care is preferred.
The scheduled weekly hours are 40, with 10-hour day shifts. On-call coverage outside of regularly scheduled hours is also required.
The scope of practice includes performing comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating patient care.
