APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant | PAME Clinic - Rapid City, South Dakota

Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our PAME (Pain Management & Musculoskeletal Experts) Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on managing acute and chronic conditions, performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes during hospital stays.

A Day in the Life

Your day will typically involve a mix of patient care activities, administrative tasks, and team collaboration. You will:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and review of diagnostic results.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in hospitalized patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting them as needed based on patient progress.
