This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver comprehensive care to patients with kidney-related conditions in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an integral part of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patients across various care settings, including acute, short-term, and long-term care facilities.

Completion of a master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate from a nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission is required. Licensing prior to August 1, 1995, master's degree in nursing is preferred.
While prior experience in nephrology is beneficial, new graduates will be considered. A strong interest in kidney care and a willingness to learn are essential.
The position typically involves Monday-Friday day hours, with possible occasional weekend or holiday coverage.
Hospital rounding responsibilities are included after 6 months in the position or at the discretion of department leadership, mainly at SMCF, Broadway, and South University locations.
The Nephrology team consists of 5 physicians and 3 APPs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
