Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Skilled Rehab team at Good Samaritan Algona and Forest City. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in assisting patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises, helping them improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide essential support to our patients' rehabilitation journey.

To be considered for this position, you must be a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a current and valid state licensure in Iowa. You should also have an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program and BLS certification.
You will be treating a variety of conditions, including orthopedic issues, weakness, balance/falls/gait problems, cervical/back pain, and general deconditioning.
No, this is not a union position.
The position is full-time, working 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekday, weekend, and holiday flexibility is available.
