Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pastoral Educator (CPE) to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. As a CPE Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of spiritual care providers. You will be responsible for conducting Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Your expertise will contribute to the development of competent and compassionate chaplains who provide invaluable support to patients, families, and staff.
Your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You might begin by reviewing accreditation standards and updating program policies to ensure compliance with ACPE guidelines. You'll then shift to student supervision, providing direct clinical guidance and fostering a supportive learning environment. You will also collaborate with staff chaplains, attend interdisciplinary team meetings, and facilitate student orientations. Part of your day will also include recruiting prospective students and mentoring those in the certified educator candidate program.
