  • Obtaining and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration).

  • Assisting residents with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and walking.
  • Performing range of motion and passive exercises.
  • Completing tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience.
  • Aiding providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
  • Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicating resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
  • Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens.
  • Providing housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
  • Providing assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encouraging residents to participate.
  • Following infection prevention and control policies and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents.
