The essential functions include preparing, cooking, and assembling food items, ensuring food quality, maintaining sanitation, following recipes, and operating kitchen equipment.
A minimum of six months of applicable experience in food preparation is preferred.
Depending on the location of hire, ServSafe certification may be required within a designated timeframe.
This is a part-time day shift position, with approximately 24 hours per week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. The schedule is 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Scrubs of any color/pattern are allowed for both top and bottom. Good tennis shoes are recommended for comfort and safety.
There is an opportunity to pick up more hours as they are available, up to 40 hours per week.
Yes, there is an opportunity to cross-train into the Food Service Assistant role.
Reliability, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitasking skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
