Role Overview
This full-scope midwifery practice offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services. You will partner closely with our OBGYN team to support postpartum care for all OB patients and the initial triage of all patients presenting to the Family Birth Center.

Your weekly schedule will include one day of outpatient clinic (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and one dedicated 24-hour inpatient shift per week. The call commitment is light, approximately 2–4 shifts per month, and is exclusively for CNM patients, ensuring no cross-coverage.

- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, inter-conceptional, well-woman, and gynecologic care and education for women and their families.
- Maintain records of patient conditions and test results within care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic or laboratory tests as well as prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations.
- Conduct physical examinations; prescribe medications including controlled substances and contraceptive methods; admit, manage, and discharge patients; order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests and order the use of medical devices.
