Are you a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for a flexible PRN opportunity? Sanford Health is seeking a caring individual to join our team at Cedar Lake Village, an assisted living and memory care community in Olathe, Kansas. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
As a PRN CNA at Cedar Lake Village, you will work under the supervision of a charge nurse, providing direct care to residents in our assisted living and memory care units. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as well as monitoring vital signs, providing medication administration (as delegated), and offering psychosocial support. You will also be responsible for documenting resident care, communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.
Each day as a CNA at Cedar Lake Village will bring new opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. Your day may begin with assisting residents with their morning routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will then assist with meal service, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration. Throughout the day, you will monitor vital signs, assist with medication administration (as delegated), and provide emotional support to residents. You will also assist with recreational activities, encouraging residents to participate and socialize. At the end of the day, you will assist residents with their evening routines and prepare them for a comfortable night's sleep.
