  • Assist residents with basic health care needs, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
  • Obtain and record vital signs accurately.
  • Provide psychosocial support and personal care to assigned residents.
  • Assist residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Provide range of motion and passive exercises as directed.
  • Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate.
  • Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
  • Provide assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourage residents to participate.
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
  • Follow infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use.
  • Provide resident-centered nursing care as per care plan.
