A Day in the Life

As a Mohs Surgeon at Sanford Health, your day will typically involve a combination of outpatient clinic sessions and inpatient consultations. In the clinic, you will evaluate patients with skin cancer and other dermatological conditions, perform Mohs surgery to remove cancerous tissue, and provide follow-up care. You will also have the opportunity to perform general dermatology procedures, such as biopsies and excisions. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you may also supervise advanced practice providers and participate in the education of medical students and residents. The position offers a flexible 4–5-day work week with no in-hospital or after-hours call, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
