Sanford Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join our expanding neurology department in Fargo, North Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team of 17 neurologists and 8 advanced practice providers, with subspecialty representation in various areas of neurology. The successful candidate will focus on providing comprehensive care to patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, dystonia, and tremor. The position involves clinic-based practice, participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, and opportunities for clinical research and teaching.
A typical day for a Movement Disorders Neurologist at Sanford Health in Fargo involves a mix of clinical activities, patient care, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You'll start by reviewing patient charts and preparing for scheduled appointments. Throughout the day, you'll conduct neurological examinations, diagnose movement disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans. You'll also administer botulinum toxin injections, manage patients undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapy, and participate in multidisciplinary team clinics for Huntington's Disease and Parkinson's Disease.
