Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Webster Medical Center in Webster, South Dakota. A Day in the Life of an RN at Webster Medical Center

As an RN on the Medical/Surgical unit at Webster Medical Center, your day will be dynamic and rewarding. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitoring patient vital signs and documenting changes in condition.
  • Providing wound care and other specialized nursing interventions.
  • Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians, patient care technicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Responding to patient emergencies and providing life-saving interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Delegating tasks to patient care technicians as appropriate.

You will work three 12-hour rotating shifts per week, either from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other to every third weekend commitment. The flexible self-scheduling options allow you to create a work-life balance that suits your needs.
