Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Care Leader in Windom, Minnesota. As a Clinical Care Leader, you will play a vital role in providing individualized nursing care, overseeing quality assurance processes, and ensuring infection control standards are met. This is a full-time, dayshift position with scheduled weekly hours of 40. The position requires working every other weekend and holiday, with four shifts per week in the office and one on the floor. The floor work is essential for understanding resident and employee work practices, allowing you to effectively function as the QAPI Coordinator and Infection Preventionist.
As a Clinical Care Leader, your day will be dynamic and varied. On office days, you will focus on overseeing QAPI processes, analyzing data, developing improvement plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for monitoring and implementing infection control protocols to protect residents and staff. On floor days, you will directly interact with residents and employees, assess their needs, provide nursing care, and identify areas for improvement in work practices. This hands-on experience is crucial for your role as QAPI Coordinator and Infection Preventionist.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $10,000.

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred. You must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current unencumbered RN license in the State of Minnesota or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. A minimum of two years’ clinical experience is preferred.
The Clinical Care Leader is responsible for providing individualized nursing care, overseeing QAPI processes, ensuring infection control standards, collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, and supervising unlicensed personnel.
