RN - Gen Med/ICU/ED - Worthington Medical Center - Part Time

Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Worthington Medical Center. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in the General Medicine and ICU departments, while also cross-training with the Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to elderly, in medical, surgical, intensive care, and postpartum/routine newborn nursery settings.

Day in the Life

As an RN in this role, you will:

  • Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately.
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide wound care and other specialized nursing interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Adhere to all Sanford Health policies and procedures.
