Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as an Infection Preventionist/Employee Health specialist at the Jackson Medical Center. Day in the Life

As an Infection Preventionist/Employee Health RN, your day-to-day activities may include:

• Conducting surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and other reportable illnesses.
• Analyzing infection data and identifying trends to implement targeted prevention strategies.
• Developing and delivering educational programs for employees on infection control practices, hand hygiene, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Providing consultation and guidance on matters related to asepsis, disinfection, sterilization, and isolation procedures.
• Monitoring compliance with infection control policies and procedures through audits and observations.
• Investigating potential outbreaks and implementing control measures to prevent further spread.
