Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your day will begin with a review of patient charts and a team huddle to discuss patient needs and priorities. You will then perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide wound care. Patient education is a significant part of your role, ensuring patients and their families understand their treatment plans and how to manage their health. You will also be responsible for documenting patient care accurately and communicating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Throughout the day, you will prioritize patient safety and comfort, responding to any urgent needs and advocating for their well-being.

The salary range for this position is $29.50 - $44.50 per hour. The essential qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current unencumbered RN license in South Dakota or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, and the ability to maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required.
This is a part-time position with scheduled weekly hours of 20. The work shift is on the weekend.
The main responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and providing patient education.
