Day in the Life

As an RN at Good Samaritan Society, your day will be dynamic and rewarding. You'll start by reviewing resident charts and collaborating with the outgoing shift to ensure a smooth transition of care. Throughout the night, you'll administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform wound care, and respond to any resident needs or emergencies. You'll also document your observations and interventions in the electronic health record (EHR).

A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), delegating tasks as appropriate and providing guidance and support. You'll also communicate with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' conditions and addressing any concerns.
