A Master’s degree in physics, biophysics, medical physics or radiological physics is required. Three years’ experience working in diagnostic radiology/nuclear medicine department responsible for equipment testing and quality control/quality assurance is also required. Board certification is mandatory.
Key responsibilities include providing consultation, overseeing radiation safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing advanced technologies, and conducting research.
Opportunities include leadership roles, specialization, research participation, mentoring, and presenting at conferences.
