Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Foot and Ankle Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. Our diverse patient population includes children, athletes, diabetics with wound care needs, and post-operative patients. As an LPN, you will work closely with a provider and a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.
Day in the Life
As an LPN in our Foot and Ankle Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Administering medications as directed by physicians or registered nurses
- Assisting with wound care and dressing changes
- Educating patients and families on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Documenting patient information accurately and completely in electronic health records
- Maintaining patient rooms in a clean and organized manner
- Stocking patient rooms with necessary supplies
