  • Supervise and provide guidance to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other ancillary staff.
  • Monitor and manage IV infusions (if qualified).
  • Perform wound care and dressing changes.
  • Collect specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the registered nurse or physician.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
