  • Document resident interactions, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.
  • Monitor residents for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report findings to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care as directed.
  • Assist with meal service and nutritional support.
  • Collect specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain professional licensure and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
