LPN or MA - Hospice - Part-Time - Sioux Falls, SD

Role Overview

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking an LPN or MA to join our Hospice team. A Day in the Life

Here’s a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:

  • 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM: Arrive at the Cottages, review patient charts and receive updates from the off-going shift.
  • 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Visit assigned patients to assess their current condition, administer medications, and provide personal care.
  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Document patient interactions, vital signs, and any changes in condition in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Communicate with the Hospice team, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
