A bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences is required, along with national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT). Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.

This is a full-time position with varying shifts. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Laboratory staff are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, gloves, and eye protection. Specific dress code guidelines will be provided during orientation.
You will be using a variety of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Training will be provided on the proper use and maintenance of all equipment.
The Core Lab serves a diverse patient population, including inpatients, outpatients, and patients from affiliated clinics and hospitals.
The Core Lab team consists of a diverse group of Medical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Technologists, Laboratory Assistants, and other support staff.
If you are working in North Dakota, you must be licensed by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Sanford Health will provide guidance and support to help you obtain the necessary licensure.
