  • Assisting residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking.
  • Performing range of motion and passive exercises.
  • Completing tasks related to food preparation and dining.
  • Assisting residents with meals and snacks.
  • Providing water and supplements as appropriate.
  • Administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within scope of practice.
  • Documenting outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary intake.
  • Communicating changing conditions, medication follow-up, and care-related concerns to the charge nurse.
  • Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens.
  • Providing housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Assisting with wellness and recreational programs.
  • Encouraging resident participation in activities.
  • Participating in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Following infection control protocols.
  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Responding to resident calls and requests promptly.
  • Reporting any incidents or accidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
