Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Long Term Care team in New Underwood, South Dakota. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This is a full-time, straight night shift position, offering a stable schedule and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our residents.
As a CNA in our Long Term Care facility, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring their vital signs, and documenting your observations. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care in a safe and comfortable environment. Your empathy, attention to detail, and commitment to resident well-being will be essential to your success in this role.
Your typical day as a CNA on the night shift might include:

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 16 years of age, and possess a current CNA certification or be eligible to obtain one within four months of hire. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
