Sanford Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Nursing Home Administrator in Training (AIT) program in Blackduck, Minnesota. This comprehensive program is designed to provide you with the hands-on experience and necessary tools to excel as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator within the Good Samaritan Society, a part of Sanford Health. As an AIT, you will work under the guidance of experienced preceptors, gaining invaluable knowledge in all facets of long-term care management.
Your day as a Nursing Home Administrator in Training will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will rotate through various departments within the long-term care facility, including:
In addition to departmental rotations, you will also participate in self-study, on-the-job training, and live/virtual instruction. You will attend required workshops, meetings, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills. Travel to Sioux Falls, SD for three workshops throughout the program duration is required.
