As a Nursing Home Administrator in Training, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will work under the guidance of a preceptor, rotating through different departments such as Administration, Human Resources, Nursing, Business Office/Financial Management, Dietary, Rehabilitation, Medical Records, Activities, Social Services/Admissions, Housekeeping/Laundry, and Environmental Management/Maintenance. Your responsibilities will include observing and participating in daily activities, assisting with administrative tasks, learning about regulatory compliance, understanding financial operations, and engaging with residents and staff. You will also attend workshops in Sioux Falls, SD, to enhance your knowledge and skills. This hands-on experience will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of long-term care operations.
