As an Occupational Therapist in our Home Health department, you will be responsible for assessing patients' functional abilities, developing and implementing customized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physical therapists, and home health aides, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. You must be licensed in the state of North Dakota as an Occupational Therapist. Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred for Sanford Health Facilities. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 60 days of employment.
The caseload varies depending on patient needs and geographic location. We strive to maintain a manageable caseload that allows you to provide high-quality care.
Sanford Health provides therapists with necessary equipment such as a company car, laptop, and mobile phone to facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
Therapists are required to wear professional attire, including scrubs and appropriate footwear.
Sanford Health offers financial assistance for continuing education courses, conferences, and certifications to help you stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in occupational therapy.
This position is for 32 hours per week, with day shifts. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your personal needs.
