This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team, develop connections with referral and community partners, and contribute to the advancement of pre-hospital care within the Sanford Health region.
As an Outreach Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating excellent pre-hospital care by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will act as a liaison between subject matter experts, ensuring a consistent and uniform message is communicated across the region. Your responsibilities will include cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to enhance Sanford AirMed's reputation and presence in the market, as well as educating these stakeholders on the safe and appropriate utilization of air medical resources. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment, strong assessment skills, and the ability to adapt to change effectively. You will also be responsible for providing resources for processes, information technology support, quality assurance, quality improvement, staffing, equipment, education, risk management, and operational issues.

A Bachelor’s degree or three years of work experience as a paramedic or registered nurse (RN) is preferred. Previous flight experience is helpful, but not required. A valid driver’s license is required. If licensed as a Paramedic, you must hold current Paramedics national registry status at National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and hold a current unencumbered Paramedic license in the state(s) of practice. Current Registered Nurses (RN) must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state(s) of practice.
The main responsibilities include acting as a liaison with subject matter experts, cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, educating stakeholders on the safe and appropriate utilization of air medical resources, and providing resources for processes, information technology support, quality assurance, quality improvement, staffing, equipment, education, risk management, and operational issues.
This is a part-time position with scheduled weekly hours of 20.
The salary range is estimated to be $45,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
